I listened to an interview today on Radio 4 with Rick Buckler, the drummer out of The Jam.

It seems that he's been filling his time over the last 20 years making and restoring furniture in his workshop at home.

Other celebrity woodworkers I know of include President Jimmy Carter, actor Harrison Ford, Jesus - the Son of God, and Martin Clunes, the jug-eared bloke from Men Behaving Badly.

Any more?

Joe Brown, singer from the 60's still performing today. He has a workshop where he makes colourful wooden "toys"

John Revell. It was on Discovery Home and Leisure, not Sky. I watched 3 of his series (not sure if he did more): one on rebuilding his house, one on kitting out his workshop and one on woodworking projects.

We discussed this recently here. I don't think Martin Clunes, Rick Buckler, or Joe Brown cropped up in the conversation, though.

If retired sportsmen can be classed as "Celebrities" then Mike Garnham (cricketer) is a name that hasn't been mentioned yet. He regular posts on another forum, but not the other forum.
