It's made of oak, it's full of curves and it's a bit short of right angles... definitely one of mine then!

It uses the usual template trim to get the curves. The tall piece has a scarf joint in it, otherwise the chunk it would need to come from would be huge

The hub at the top is turned and fixed in place with screws and pellets. The actual candle holder is a piece of old steam pipe, and the wax collector is hand spun pewter (done by some associates in Sheffield, fascinating process, awesome to watch)

First the cross and now this. WOW! is really all i can say.
 
It looks fantastic. Sadly, I can't increase the pic size to get a look at the detail, but looks a terrific job.
