Can you help identify this planer?

Still thinking about this planer even though I cant look at it yet ive been seeing if I can find out how to remove the infeed table so does anyone know how I can do this to look underneath for this metal piece?

Also reading bits and pieces and I came across something that mentions the 'Gib' so could this bit of metal be that?
