i know its not the cheapest but it does have £50 knocked off

you mean it was £24,950.60

maybe it comes wrapped in a 5x6 mt workshop fully equipped....

It's a very good tool - well built, very quiet, well designed. Like most other OSSs, you can invert the loading, but the middle of the loading is difficult to use. I made an additional top for mine that overcame this, plus I included an adjustable sliding pin so that I could sand circles. :)

Hahaha - Cheers Speed for the 'heads up' - twenty four thousand pounds for a bench top sander was a bit excessive, agreed.

It was part of our new marketing drive to emphasise the prestige and build quality of the 'Jet brand' - It's now back on at a more realistic nineteen thousand pounds.

 (ok - It is now priced correctly on the website)

ps - Ray - that is a very good idea too - if i show it to the Jet engineer in Switzerland and he comes up with an accessory, will you sue me? :D

Cheers to all too :eek:ccasion5:

You won't believe this fella's, but I left a little joke on Axminster's site last night to say that the price seems a little exessive for a bench top sander and to my suprise, a phone call this afternoon from a very polite lady informing me of the real price!!!!
Now that's customer service!!!!

cheers,
jonathan.

No, unless the obligatory royalties or the one-off buy-out are too small.
