My goodness, this is "a blast from the past" I wasn't sure that it was still being made. The interior one always smelt of 'Distemper' And, yes I am old enough to remember my father using that sort of paint.
The Brummer's was always okay to sand, but if you used it over the heads of countersunk pins, it would often cause them to rust through. Much better when the two part fillers came onto the market.
 
I use Everbuild, only two colours but you can blend them together. Also you can add a little water when it starts to harden in the tub.

Excellent filler for pin head holes and small blemishes, very fast to set enough to sand.
Just add a drop of water to the lump in the pot and remix a little bit to the constituency you need.
