I found the maker Gearheart Industry on Google, and has very good reviews, but the electric branding irons from shapeofwood are much cheaper. I can not make up my mind!

I was looking forward to finally getting our new CIC logo made into a branding Iron after various delays and contacted Luke today only to be hit with the 'bombshell' that he is leaving the UK for good.
Anybody have any recommendations for other Branding Iron makers in the UK?

Mike at outpostworkshop.co.uk has made all of mine; lovely work, great service, electric heaters available which work *very* well. Not cheap, but very good.

Outpost workshop also look good, Peter are you using your Irons with an electric heater or heating with a flame, if so is it reliable and straightforward?

I started out just using a blowtorch, but found it very hit & miss, so switched to the electric heater that Mike sells and the difference is chalk & cheese. So much easier to get a consistent brand with a heater. Recommended.
