Boxes and skittles

Been busy making some boxes with offcuts. Finished with danish oil and wax.

A mate wanted a set of skittles, couldn't get the bowls perfectly round though :lol:

I've never done it myself. but you can make balls with a belt sander.

turn it upside down, make a box over the belt, open top and bottom , chuck a cube of wood in and let it bounce around. comes out round apparently !

Good Job, looking great.

The only way I've turned balls round is to make a half round template from ply (mark with a compass and cut out on the bandsaw) and use that to give a shape to hold up to the ball. I keep taking a little off until it fits the half circle.
