Box decorations

Hi all,

I often see small boxes with flat metal decorations on; often something like an elephant, as in this picture:

Does anyone know if there's a standard term for these please? I've been looking to see if I can buy some to experiment with putting on boxes, but the search terms I can think of tend to just find 3D ornaments, instructions for making sheet metal boxes, etc.
