Blum soft closers

Anyone know of a shorter version of these Blum soft closers for doors?

Is there a reason you are not using the ones attached to the hinges, or the hinges with integrated soft close?

Yes. This is not something new I am making. Something now in the way in the cupboard that prevents these staying where they are and not really possible to move them to somewhere else.

So dont want to buy 4 new hinges cause its in the way of 2 doors. Believe 2 soft closers will be cheaper than 4 hinges.

Dont care what make, dont have to be Blum

Any ideas where to buy?

If the hinges are blum you should be able to buy the soft close additions to the hinges like on this page:

which also has your type of closers on there

ldl is the company I use, but I am trade (not sure if you are) they also have a public site, which I cannot remember off the top of my head. new hinges with integrated soft close aren't that expensive if you want a neat solution.

That's interesting, the hinges are Blum How do they work/attach? Not sure what specific hinge type they are I find the Blum website a bit hard to use, but they are inset doors. Do they attach to any Blum hinge?

You can probably gather I'm not trade but there is usually a way around that when buying something

Are they layon doors, if they are get the pistons that fit into a hole drilled into the carcase edge. You may even be able to remove the piston from teh holder you have and just set that into a hole.

I think you will find that these are the type that you need, they clip into the square hole.

Somewhere on the hinge you should find a code, which you should be able to find if the one I showed is compatible
