Hi,

Very nice indeed George, very nice.

I like this one a lot, red being my favourite colour, this one is excellent indeed.

I really like the form of these one's you've been doing, very delicate and dumpy.

Beautiful work,

Lee.

Wow, that's stunning. Love the shape and the colour of the red and black is really nice.

Very nice, If i was to critique i'd say a concave curve up to the top of the lid from the bead on the lid ( rather than a straight ) would conplement more the curve on the box body ( my novice opinion ! )

Threaded George ?

Iv'e been threading some acrylics lately and get very nice results ( and bone but it stinks preping it ! )

Very nice

is it possible to see a pic of the box without its lid - the slight touch of white I think appearing on the rim looks particularly good

Hi George.
I dont like to be negative but this just does not work for me.
I dont think the box and lid go together.
I dont know if it is the colour choices or the lid shape

Regards George

I like the way this particular form of yours is evolving.
In particular i like the slight elogation of the body to a more cordate shape.

Having said that this blank doesn't quiet hit the spot.
I think it might be the colour combination, but especially the way the white is quite seperate on the lid.
If the white section had come further onto the body it would have look better imho.

Thank you

Harlequin: next time i get my camera set up i'll try to remember

George.F: Dont worry about being negative- you have given an honest response without being harsh or rude- thank you

Ryan: I am messing around with this shape allot- the blank was an experiment between me and Merv and we are still working on refineing the three colour technique to acheive more of a blend.

I like the shape and though not a big fan of acrylic I do like the colouring and effect of both the top and the bottom. Only thing that grates for me is the stark difference between them. Looks to me like they are from different boxes and put together . Lovely work etc as always, just the colour difference.

Yet another lovely piece George =D>
Do you find people use these small boxes for jewellery and such like?
