2440x1220x18 birch ply priced at £49 and change - is that a good price?

Depends what birch ply it is, from cheap Chinese to b/b Finnish birch

I recently paid £38 for boards I was less than pleased with. So I'd make sure these where very high quality.

It was in B&Q - I forgot to note the spec, I think I was in shock :)

Would that include delivery or did you collect it?

Prices must be going up! I got some for jig making from B&Q last year at £35 a sheet, solid one side with patches on the other. No problems with unexpected voids and it was quite flat. Paid that for some 9mm Latvian last month. According to the importer "the Finns are now running all the Latvian plant so it's just as good"; so the curl at one end must have been their poor storage then?

I've been using "S improved" Birch Faced Ply from Edens and the quality is great. I've used about 40 sheets in the last few months and have been paying 39.91 +vat for 18mm.
