yes I watched the first series with interest. I thought it was going to be more of a documentary then yet another manipulated dumbed down white trash crapathon. I refuse to have it on the house.

I watched the first one as well and enjoyed it.
It has got worse and worse as they have gone on.
Borderline freak show now, highlights everything that is mindless and stupid about some people nowadays.

looking on the bright side its twelve chavs out of circulation for a bit - perhaps they could do this on a much bigger scale and only tell them that its for broadcast - but not actually broadcast it , a sort of reverse truman show.

Sadly Channel 4 has put all its eggs in one basket with this kind of reality TV format hence its huge financial black hole. I remember when they had Brookside, live coverage of the Tour de France and some wonderful documetaries such as the classic truck and plant series. I feel that the public are bored with reality TV and need to find some fresh ideas.

Andy Parsons once said that the only type of reality TV he'd watch is "Celebrities Find Osama." If they do find him - result. If they disappear - result!

I love Big Brother!!!!!!!!
& Britians got talent, I`m a celebrity, & all the other reality garbage, though i`ve never seen any as i don`t watch television.

But, & this is the important bit, Mrs B does!!!!! which means when this dross comes on i`m free to escape to the workshop.

Funny how wives don`t care what you`re doing if THEY are enjoying themselves, but if they are doing a bit of house work, you`re not allowed to be enjoying yourself :lol: :lol: :lol:
