Well..what a kerfuffle.

We tried one of joint B and what a pain in the proverbial it turned out to be. It would have worked very nicely if all we were doing was simply dropping the other end onto a bearer. But we weren't. We were needing to drop the other end into the housing already cut in the middle beam.

That meant fiddling ad nuaseam trying to take just enough off that we could drop it into position. In the process, we wrecked part of the main beam (I have my over-enthusiastic helper and the lump hammer to thank for that).

And so the rest were a la mode (ie A).
