Spent the last couple of days on the Narrow Boat fitting the above, I was very surprized that it actually went in without too many alterations.

Above the cupboard I have two half round shelves but they are not completely ready.

very nice Waka !!!

any more pics of the boat ?

I've just sold my 57! Trad incomplete. I got disillusioned with BW and the license/mooring situation !

Waka you put the rest of us to shame. Slow down!!

Looks brilliant by the way.

The last one I took was last year just before I had the cratch cover fitted.

I can understand why people get disillusioned, mine is now 13 years old and part of the family. I'm moored not far from you, Brinklow,so if you want to come down and have a look around you're more than welcome.

Looks great Waka but why do you need all those planes if you're only going to make curved stuff

Cheers, Paul :D

(hardly jealous at all  )

Waka, have you got a boatmans cabin in the narrowboat?
The cupboard turned out really well. I used to build narrowboats and know that it can be a challenge to fit things under-gunwale. Well done.
What kind of layout do you Have, if you don't mind me asking?

ah - by rose ?

would love to come and have a nosey ! if you dont mind !

I thought you would be miles away - as your profile says Weymouth

oh - and I guess if you have ever left your moorings you will know my house / garden

Bridge #4 (tusses bridge - hence the user name) opposite the fishing tackle shop - the bridge before sutton stop/hawksbury junction

I have a silly amount of cars in my garden !

Very nice, my dad had a business fitting out narrow boats on the rare occasions when I visited I would love to watch him at work

Know the garden very well, not been that way since last year but should be coming by within the next 3 weeks, do you still have all those VW's and American cars?

Riley

The layout is a pretty standard 2 berth with fixed double, I can put the dinette down to another double but prefer not to. I've been altering and updating since the boat was new, to give you an idea I've rebuilt the kitchen twice.

still have a few :? about 20

plenty of VW's, couple of ferrari kit cars

just one yank now - the Yellow Trans-Am

and as per the 'earning a living' thread - I have just bought 7 of the newer shape vans.

I need to sort the garden out, as it is getting cluttered again !

Great job Waka. Fits in perfectly. Love the boat as well. Shame I'm a little too far to pop up and see the boat. Parents used to own one when I was a little un. Loved it. Spent every weekend on it. Wanted to buy one a few years back but never got past looking through the ads.

Thanks guys for the encouraging comments, now back to making square things.

Shame, guess you won't be ebay'ing those planes any time soon after all then :(

Cheers, Paul. :D
