Hi all,

There is probably a simple solution to this but I can't think of it.

I have a HA1000 dust extractor which provides me with a 100mm pipe. Most of the time I have this attached directly to my EX21 scroll saw but at other times I want it securely fastened "in the vicinity" of either my drill press, my cheapo Dremel router table or wherever I'm hand sanding. I'm happy to bolt/screw/clamp something/anything to my bench so that it's held in place while I work and I'll unbolt/unscrew/unclamp it when I want to move back to my saw - it's not something I'll be doing very often so I can cope with the time overhead.

I don't (yet) have a hood or any other exhaust port altering equipment (aside from the size adaptors) but I'm happy to buy what makes a good solution - so what IS the good solution?

Thanks in advance.

Why not put it on a rolling base with a quick release clamp (tenner a pair on axminster) and then just have some fixed dust pipes from your machines to the right height in the wall.

Then it's a case of wheeling over the dust cart, and booking the extractor to the pipe and away you go :)

Thanks Matt but you've slightly misunderstood; my "workshop" is so small I don't actually ever have to move my extractor, the 2m pipe is sufficient, but what i do want is stable mounting or clipping points to attach the hose end to so that it's active near machines that don't have exhaust ports.

Do you know PAC1, I think you've hit the nail on the head! Never saw that on their site before and it's not until I've looked at the third image that I've worked out how it works and it looks ideal! Thanks.

No worries, I see PAC1 nailed it - those look pretty handy clips!
