We have a SCM SandYa WIN 25" belt sander, it has started to kick the boards back out of the machine when taking off only 0.3-0.7mm. Ive adjusted the rollers and the pad as weve had new belts delivered, but still kicking out. any advise? thanks...

Front or rear? You said rear in your first post :?

Either way I think it will be your guide rollers need slackening off a little :)

0.7mm is a lot, how long do your belts last.
I rarely take off more than 0.3mm each hit (mainly hardwoods) with an 80grit belt, under this if its finer.

Sounds like the first pressure roller needs to have more pressure, also how worn is the bed conveyor belt, about every couple of years I whack a 40grit belt on mine and wind the bed right up and sand the belt (0.1mm) to level it and also remove any residues. (not all machines can self sand the bed), makes the bed more grippy.

It could also be your pad sander at the rear is too low.

Hi Yea it throws them out of the front, doctor bob thanks for your post, unfortunately we have a pad on ours and cant sand the bed/belt flat. Ill give the front roller a good tweaking and see if any joy from that, im sanding hardwoods as a job, but we tried with softwood to see if it has the same problem and it does, so can only think its the roller, or the pad is too low, however i have tried the pad in all positions. thanks guys.
