The missus has got me off boxmaking again.
I am going to fit a headboard to our bedroom wall, using a veneer flush door which will be attached to the wall and not the bed.
Anyone done this?
I thought I would use a batten at the bottom edge of the headboard to hold it up, battens at the sides & top (Cherry) with moulded edges.
I am particularly requesting advice on the headboard lamp I am considering to fit. It has G9 halolgen bulbs (2x40watts), knowing the changes that are coming with regard to bulbs and the push towards low energy types, do you think it would be a mistake to fit, perhaps no replacement bulbs in the future?
Is there a tool (power) that chases out a cable channel into a solid wall with plaster these days?
