Afternoon all,

I recently upgraded my morticed from bench top Sized machine to an old Record, it's a WRM 200, and a fair size, but the guy i bought it from didn't have the base for it, I've had a little look around and on ebay etc, but I can't find a base cab for it, I've seen some metal frame bases that are supposed to be universal, but I'm not sure they'll take the weight, I've been meaning to give Record a bell and ask them but not gotten around to it so I thought I'd ask if anyone on here knows where, and how much?
The Morticer is record but the base doesn't need to be, all the machines of around the same size look pretty standard and I'd guess the bases are interchangeable?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
Dan

If you cant find a genuine base have you thought about using an old metal 2/3 drawer filing cabinet they are cheap as chips and offer the benefit of ready made storage.
