I really don't see why certain people insist that this or that is the correct way to set up a bandsaw for about 25 years I had several bandsaws and would never entertain a table saw so I totally relied on a bandsaw for everything I would like to tell a story about a very famous brand of band saw that I had trouble setting up, the company sent a engineer from the south of England to Aberdeenshire who spent the whole day trying to solve the problem of tracking etc, and could not solve the problem and in the end ( after a load of hassle at no extra cost) sent a larger replacement which was no better. the point I am trying to make is as I have said before there is no one solution to setting up a bandsaw it is what works for you, it does not matter if it is AS or anyone else with DVDS or not if it works for you don't knock anyone else who has a different method
