Thought a photo may help and this shows the rear thrust bearing position. The square blocks are set either side, just off the blade, but the thrust bearing needs to be behind the blade. Set it up so that it is just not touching when you turn the wheel, but as soon as you cut timber, it turns, but it stops the blade moving backwards.
