I also have the BS350 and did not find the blade supplied with it that good for cutting straight so if you are putting on the blade that was supplied I would order a Tuffsaw blade to replace it I did and after putting on the 5/8" Tuffsaw and setting the saw up with the same method that you use I found that the BS cut just as straight as my Benchsaw, unfortunatly I messed the blade up trying to cut a very thin veneer and had cut the fence a we bit so need to order an other blade.
