Bandsaw blade disposal

What is the safest way of disposing old bandsaw blades I have 5x88inch old blades to dispose of.

Local recycling center, in the metal bin.

As above,maybe put a tie wrap or two on them

Straight to local recycling centre and into the metal skip.

they bend up rather easily!

I fold mine up, tie wrap it, then put it our recycling bin.
