From the photos I get the impression that the inlet just opens into the cyclone void effectively injecting the sawdust radially towards the centre. Would it be better if you had bend to inject it circumferentially?.
I won't say have fun as you're obviously having some.

that that's the ratio... 2 buckets to 1 tablespoon, then I'd say that's pretty successful

Here's how it is.

Possibly bigger would be better, but it'll do the job for now.

A 100mm inlet and a 100mm outlet doesn't leave much space.
