It was Dodge's post that caused me to join this forum when I was looking into this machine.

I got mine in November and have had no problems so far and have run thousands of feet through it since.

But you get what you pay for, I work on my own and therefore the machine is not running 40 hours a week, if I was doing that sort of work I would have gone for a more expensive machine.

For a single user maker it is a great machine at the money.

As for the cutters it only takes me 10 mins to change them, and as long as you buy decent knives they last a long time between sharpening, I get my knives from my saw doctor as the Axminster ones are not the best, I do pay twice the price of the Axminster ones but I feel it is worth it in the long run.

Hay Tom, thanks for the feedback. Interesting what you say about the knives - how long do you leave between sharpening, are they TCT ones?
 
I use HSS knives, there is alot of difference it the quality of HSS so a cheap set is quite often a false saving as you have to get them sharpened more often.

As for sharpening it depends on what I have been machining.
