Hi
I've recently purchased one of these beasts second hand. All looking good now I've set it up. BUT, it is going trough 13amp fuses like no ones business! The fuse goes generally when I've stopped the motor which is a slight puzzle.
As you can tell from my questions below, I'm not an electrician or even electrically minded. My limit is putting plugs on cables! So:-

As you can tell from my questions below, I'm not an electrician or even electrically minded. My limit is putting plugs on cables! So:-
- Am I trying to cut too much of too hard a timber. Mostly at the moment Evergreen Oak Quercus Ilex a few years old?
- I'm using a 3m extension lead, fully extended, is this an issue?
- I'm having a new outlet installed soon, should this be fed by a higher rated cable?
- Are there higher amp fuses that I should be using? If so, what. The info from Axminster states it is a 240volt motor.
- Would I be better having a commando socket connection?
- Failing this, where can I buy cheap, long lasting 13amp fuses!!
