Whilst taking a gander at the manual I noticed it said, "UJK Technology OTORO Palm Router Table has been licensed by OTORO DESIGN INC.,
Japan, based on patented design of OTORO Multipurpose Compact Router Table TTX2." [page 2, under the index].

Off I trotted to google "OTORO Multipurpose Compact Router Table TTX2". It turned up not much apart from leading me to an Otoro playlist on YouTube. There's 9 videos in total showing working with mostly itty-bitty pieces.

I'm still not buying the UJK one for £300. Nope. Never ever. Not this year anyway

Got to have some bling otherwise its not worth buying, unless its green and black of course.

Not withstanding who made what, when, has anybody bought and used one of these tables, just in case we have forgotten what the thread was about.

The wine must've been good the night I ordered it, as this arrived too:

^It's the *ducks* Makita 18V jobby.

I should get a chance to play with it over the festive season and I may try and do a review of sorts... time permitting. Is there anything in particular you want to know about it?

P.S. Don't tell the missus!

Hey, I'll do just about anything after some tasty red. 8-[

I'll see what I can do review wise, but I'm no whizz with router tables. I've always had to pack away a bench just to make space to use even my dinky Trend CRT table... so I tend to just avoid doing that if at all possible!

One thing I can tell you, which I'm sure you'll be overjoyed at, is the dust port takes a Festool D36 hose perfectly ;P

Nice! It must have been good because there doesn't seem to be much point in a cordless router in a router table :)

Ha! Yes, the cordless utility of a router table is somewhat "limited". Just you wait until I have a cordless vac; then I can run me up some nice bits of trim when I'm out working the peat bank (hammer) (hammer) (hammer)
