Axminster Clubman chuck - question for owners

I checked it with gripping the faceplate this morning and it's very secure. No gaps or movement.

Axminster also replied saying there should be some movement but as long as the wood is secured properly and there's no movement then all is well.

Yes I did John. Was'nt going to at the start but after weighing up the options I decided it was the best way to go. Plus so many people say how good they are if you search on here.
 
Toolmex used to make all the Axminster chucks but they started making there own and the quality is nothing like it was I have the supper precision which they seem to have discontinued and the corlton which was replaced by the k10 and my wife got me the k10 fo my small lathe and from my own experience the quality is no were near as good and I would never buy another one from them this is from someone who once always recommended them
