Axminster ade 2220 Dust extractor - fixing help

Having taken an etxra week off work I've been messing around in the workshop doing lots of useful things like emptying the dust extractor for the first time. The metal clip on the strap came off when I was taking the bottom bag off. I can't seem to reattach the clip - I notice that the top strap has a spring on - can anyone has a 2200 take a quick look and see if the bottom clip - on the bottom bag - should have a spring. I think it probably should and it has pinged off into the oblivion off the workshop, but I want to double check I'm not just being an imbecile and the clip doesn't need one.

Hi, I just checked and both clips have springs. If you have no luck finding the spring Axminster do sell replacements here.

Thanks, Davy. I'll have a hunt around first but I'm not optimistic knowing my workshop.

Or just ring them and see what they say. You may get lucky and they send you one in the post.

Just tried and they agreed but only after I handed over £7.50. Worth a go.
