hello folks i dont know how many of you are awgb members on here (i know that some are) are any of you coming to the seminar in 2009?

this will be my third seminar- they are very very good events with an amazing amount of demo's going on over the 2 1/2 days.

they are based at the loughborough university which is about 20 minutes from me.One year i even had to lend them a bit of my vb for melvyn firmager to demonstarte on

I've seen mike mahoney, stuart batty, alan batty, nick agar, mick odonnell, binh pho, simon hope plus many more.

Often thought of joining the AWGB George, would you recommend it for a relative novice?

Regards
Steve

I haven't renewed my membersahip yet and though I'd love to go to the seminar it runs a bit expensive for me. Pity as they have a good collection of demonstrators this year. Have a look here for information Steve

Yes in my opinion its worth joining just for the seminar experince alone- but you also get a quartely magazine and members discounts from supppliers, tution etc

Hi guys,

It was my first one last year and I will definitely be going again!! On the face of it it seems expensive but for what you get it really is good value: 3days of hard core turning with people from all over the world demonstrating (all food included!!!!) Seriously.... do it!!!!
