I'm not being picky George, just ignorant and curious re: threading. Is it possible to determinf where the thread begins and ends so that the grain matches or is that not really possible?

I was watching someone demo thread chasing at the club and it looked easy...doesn't it always? :cry: Something that I'd like to be able to do but not for a while. Is this something that could be demoed at the bash or is it already full up with ideas?

No problem chaps i will bring my chasers with me- sods law though that what always goes smoothly in my own workshop will go **** up infront of people-

tom and richard come to play- i get a drill chuck stuck in my headstock!!! never happend before or since but i seriously thought it wasnt going to come out :oops:
Mark.s calls in for a coffe- I couldint get my tailstock to lock out!! allot of jiggleing later it finally goes in :roll: it always drops in smoothly!!!

anyway i'll have a go :D
