They're not wearing any PPE, but I suppose it wouldn't make any difference. Sounds nice though!

The only problem I can see with using the V8 chainsaw instead of the small circular saw is that the depth control on the small blank held in the drill press would be a little difficult!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

There is little point in wearing PPE if the slightest slip is going to instantly remove either an arm or a head!! :twisted: :twisted:

It makes you wonder doesn't it? But mind you, a while back, on an Anglo/French forum that I'm on a bloke that is/was into some really seriously incredible wood work/carving with a chain saw, Westonbirt level, asked me if it was possible to use a chain saw on a lathe? My reply was possibly, as long as you have the ambulance crew there ready!

He actually tried it and reported back, via the forum, that it was NOT a good idea. This guy was a pro with a chain saw, not too sure about him from the neck up though?
