Seriously I have an eye on something on Fleebay but the seller insists on local pickup only. I was wondering, assuming I bid and win it - if some kind soul would be willing to pick it up and perhaps hold onto it for a while, until I swing by or get on of those Ebay delivery companies to collect it.

I'd be happy to wire the payment (BACs or Paypal) so it could be cash on collection.

It's not a delicate thing so could be stored anywhere - even in the garden.

Any volunteers?

On a similar note considering there are that many of us spread around the place - if someone wants something picking up or checking (Ebay or otherwise) within say 30mins radius of Leeds\Bradford, give me a shout.

Either drop it off on one of the visits to the in-laws in Brum or leave it with someone en-route - i.e. pass the parcel.

Recently 'Bvt (Mailman) did me a similar favour for 2 rolls of Tyvek, so more than happy to do the same for another.

Dibs-h wrote that "its not a delicate thing so could be stored anywhere - even in the garden". Since my wife left me last year i've often wondered where she went but i'm not surprised she ended up being sold on e-bay and will spend her days alfresco in Harlow.
