Anyone know what these are?

A friend of mine has given me a couple of lathe tools from when he used to have a lathe, I've not seen anything like them before, they have Toga on the handle and 'Toga made in Eng' stamped into the metal. They are curved slightly and tapered at the end

Ok, how would I use them? They look like they will snap with anymore than a feathers touch.

you would use them for scraping your bearings. They are not lathe tools.

Yes, they are scrapers and like files, would be too brittle for use on a woodturning lathe.
