so i want to buy some abranet because its great stuff, and realised it would be slightly cheaper, to buy the packs of 50. so im proposing to buy the six grits listed below and then split them up 5 ways and sell them to you guys.

this is the 70mm x 125mm stuff

80g
120g
240g
320g
400g
600g

so for £19.00 inc p+p you get 60 sheets to you door, i am not making any profit from this just trying to make it slightly cheaper for us all, i will need at least 3 other parties to do this. payments via paypal only, let me know you thoughts

Nice idea but as I pay £13.50 per box of 50 and have a box of each - no point for me.

Well my thinking is that 60 sheets will last sometime for me, and its cheaper to buy the large packs and split them then the small packs of ten.

Yes Richard does the rectangular pads (127mm x 70mm) for the Abranet block sander.

I purchased the Axminster palm sander this week, (it takes 110x145) sanding squarish pads

Looks a good buy at £18 odd.

I intend to punch extraction holes using a cheapo paper punch from the bazaars (£1) to cut sandpaper to fit.

What are the advantages of Abranet, I have never come across it ?

John

It's really good stuff. The abrasive is encapsulated within a mesh....

This means that the dust from abrading falls through it and it doesn't clog.

Also on turning...it is less likely to overheat.

Worth trying out...definitely worth the extra.

Jim

yere as jim says its great stuff, my most useful turning gouge.

join in, it works out about 27p per sheet, but will probably last you till the end of time,

p.s if you want you, will become the fifth and final member in the exclusive abranet group buy club.
