Any one used/ know of this TS? Scheppach 4010?

Hello all,

I'm looking @ buying a 2nd hand TS, the Schppach TS 4010, with extractor, RH extension & outfeed table.

Firstly, I know there are a lot of people who love Scheppach equipment, but has anyone used this exact model?

Secondly, is this a really old model? As I can't really tell.

Thirdly, how much would YOU pay for it roughly?

Ive had one for about 10 years and its been pretty reliable 1 new capacitor in that time. Its had a fairly hard life but has been in semi retirement for the last few years since i bought a industrial panel saw.

I think i paid about £1800 when i bought it for the right hand extension and sliding 2m table. If you need a sliding table let me know as mines just gathering dust in the corner.

The older ones are yellow and brown then it was changed to yellow with blue writing and then the table was changed from extruded ally to cast iron. The machine now has been discontinued and replaced with the 40 20. The date of manufacture is on a plate on the machine.

Cost wise depending upon age and condition i would say up to £1000 with the sliding table in good codition or £6- £700 without the sliding table. I would look to get it as cheap as possible though

I've just been informed that the table is Ali not Cast Iron. Bit gutted about that, as I know that cast is a lot better. But how much difference is there between the 2?
