Well, the postman just arrived with...

Ok, so it's just another pattern plane. This one a Preston, six soles and original Preston irons. A mere 5 7/8" long with 1 1/2" wide irons.

Really, I can stop anytime I want to...really :roll:
 
Yeah, I do suck :lol:.

Actually, my justification was that the 12" previous pattern maker plane was for some large coopered door on a credenza I was going to do (just got confirmation it's a go last night! Now if that check would just arrive...).

This new one is because I just picked up a small job that has, well, small coopered doors. Surely the 12" plane is too big...so, I just had to get the smaller one... :roll:

No, joking aside, they look great. I bought a small set a while ago off of Ebay. Must get them out for those coopered doors I've been meaning to do.... :roll:
