My AEG EX 400 random orbit sander has worn away most of the velcro hooks on its base. Can anyone help as to where to get a new base plate or sheet of velcro to replace/repair it, please. google could not help.

I was in Tilgear yesterday and they had sheets of Velcro in the sale area.

Had same problem with mine, I used contact adhesive and some velcro tape stuff, two runs, then punched holes in it with an old chisel. Works well still.
Cost? £1.

I got a quote for replacement but purchased some self adhesive velcro and repaired the sander with it thanks for all your suggestions.
