Hello Adam,
I wasn't expecting a tutorial :shock: just a description of the build warts and all, as suggested by Mick Cheese.
Thanks for the recommendation of Cumpiano's book, I look forward to diving into that. I do have a hankering to try and make a Selmer/Maccaferri, so I guess that I need a copy of Michael Collins book too. All I need now is the skill

PS. Whilst there are specific fora for lutherie, I for one see no reason why this forum should not reflect the broad spectrum of 'things arboreal' and thus engender interest. We are well represented on the electric front, but I have only seen one acoustic build to date.
