Hi Everyone, I have a large collection of Stanley and Record Metal Planes and was wondering British planes are good quality. I especially would like to know how well rated Sargent planes are. I am not talking about infills, more your regular Stanley styles.
Also feel free to post pics of your favourites.

I think generally the Stanley’s are good, particularly the early English ones

The early records are good also
