Last week Mr Bobham PM'd me asking for my mail address. I reciprocated curiously.

Tonight when I got in there was a parcel from Canada on the door step. Inside I found....

 It's the bowl from his 'No Chuck Bowl' series. He's even thrown in the Beeswax Salad bowl finish! Not only that but also inside was this beautiful xmas tree decoration:

I sat down at the table, still with jacket on just staring at them. The bowl is finished perfectly and it's the first time I've seen Mulberry. The decoration is mind boggling. I'm afraid you're gong to have to make this a future video series Bob! Perhaps nearer to xmas.

Bob also included the raw video files of the series, so I'm going to take a look at those later.

Well what can I say Bob mate, thanks very much, so thoughtful. I guess I'll have to try to replicate it now.

Man, they said it would be a week to 10 days! I was going to let the suspense build for a bit longer before giving any hints. The bowl wouldn't have existed if you hadn't asked for the video, so I guess that makes you the father and you get custody. :D

The ornament is the one I put together in the video that I finally got done editing and uploaded last night. It will be the last effort for a bit because my vacation is over and I am back to work tonight. I will start a separate post about the latest video.

Take care
Bob

That`s excellent lads.
It never fails to amaze me the generosity of folks on woodworking forums.

Nice one Bob - Have some virtual rep !

I love reading this kind of thing, lets me know the world isn't all that bad !

How wonderfull! That bowl looks SO well finished and I am definetly going to watch how that christmas decoration is made although I think I am a long
long way off the skill required to make anything that delicate.

Another great story of the giving nature of this forum, I find it a real support whilst trying to learnt his complicated hobby (well I make it complicated!)

Best Regards

Matt

Any chance someone could make a video of putting together a Festool mitre saw? :D
