My local boot sale is usually full of the sort of tat you would'nt buy from new so I was pleased with todays haul of Victorian treasure for the princely sum of £5.50.

Five nice moulding planes at a quid each and a Sorby Kangaroo brand tenon saw for 50p.

The Sorby saw is a 14", but as the first inch is rusted through it will become a 13" and a test bed for my saw sharpening technique or lack of.

The moulding planes are a Nelson of London, a Sims of London, an I (or is it J ) Lewis from I'm not sure where, a Stothert & Walker of Bath, and a James Howarth of Sheffield - so much history for so little money!
