Hi All,
Been a while since posting on here but have a bit of time now so thought I would show what I have been working on.
(sorry about the picture quality they were taken on my mobile)
Door
First off I finally got around to decorating the hallway and we was going to buy some new doors but did not have the funds. So we decided to paint the doors a nice white from a dark brown that they were (until we had the funds to replace them). However, after painting them we decided that we actually quite liked them in that way and it made the landing feel much bigger. So to brighten it up the misses suggested we make a fake window on the kids bedroom door so that's what we done, the misses is a dab hand with that artsy stuff so she done that and I made the frame.
Door before everything

and one a bit closer
All painted (the weird shadowing is from the lamp shade we have in the hall which gives a nice tree effect)
and one from a different angle
Just need to do a little touch up on the picture to cover some paint splatter that occurred when painting the frame.
Tables
I also worked on a couple of fold up tables for a couple of xmas presents. I don't have any pictures as was rushing to finish them (i will get one of the completed tables soon).
Bed
I wanted to get a dolls bed made for one of the step daughters before xmas day, but slipped due to time constraints so it has been pushed back. It is almost there now with just a quick sanding needed to knock down sharp corners and then a coat of stain put on it.
It is made of 4 pine post and the runners are oak (all of which was rescued out the scrap pile at the local timber merchants).
a pic of the sides made with a chamfer detail on the posts (runners are mortise and tenoned into the posts posts)
assembled (again all mortise and tenoned with just the bed slats screwed in place)
still need to get a final picture as I added a little more trim. I will get that picture once it is all painted.
