9mm dowel centres

Does anyone know where I can find 9mm dowel centre points? It seems most stockists have 6/8/10/12mm matching ready made fluted dowel pins.

If that's the case, why are you using 9mm ?
Why not just use 8 or 10 ?

It’s a bit of a faff, and a lot more work than just using 8mm or 10mm dowels as Daniel said, but you could make one

It would be worth measuring the ones sold as 10mm as they could just be a fudged metrication of 3/8" (9.5mm). Superglue the pointy end concentric to a piece of 1/2" dowel, stick it in a cordless drill and file it down.
