That's him! I would guess that his latest comments would do wonders for Middle Eastern peace!

I must, however, stop listening to the Today programme as this morning I found myself in the car screaming profanities at that lying, conniving, double-dealing, odious, faecal, scumbag of a man..no, not John Humphreys.. but Blair, as he slid and slided under questioning. Why the hell that cnut has never faced a War Crimes trial I will never know.
Agree. John H did a good job on Blair. I thought he might not be up to it but by the end Blair was gibbering pathetically.

I've not watched it yet ...recorded..but having read the comments here, don't think I'll bother!

+1

I don't think for one second that the attacks were anything but genuine and without assistance in any form from those in power in the US, then or now.
It was an outrageous attack, there's no doubt about that; I was horrified by it. But...
I was equally horrified at some facts that emerged during the aftermath 'discussions', namely how many 'innocent' Iraqi civilians were killed and injured in the period between the first Gulf War and the second. I had no idea that these things were going on all that time.
There's two sides to most stories it seems and I try to look at both.
I'm also in no doubt whatever that politicians used the situation for their own ends, something I also find extremely distasteful.

A lot more than two I think, but the dead tell no tales. Their opinions would be very useful.

I'll hold my hand up Roger...

I fell for all his bulldung at the time, oh how very disappointed I was to be; more so, he is on par, if not ahead, of Thatcher as my most despised Politician. I gave up on it all after him, his lies, his self serving.... etc etc.

As did I, and let's face it, no one likes being made a fool of.

Roy.

But I'm starting to get "9/11 fatigue" now. Seems you can't switch on a TV or radio without there being some programme about it. I'm all in favour of remembrance but the media does like to go OTT....as we all know.
