62" (1575mm) bandsaw blades

Does anyone know where I can get (at a reasonable price) 62" bandsaw blades?

I have a Clarke 3 wheel band saw and the blade has gone bye bye!!

Search the forum for Dragon Saws and Dure Edge, these are considered the be the two best makers of band saw blades. If you contact them they will make a blade to fit your saw.

Hi Kevin, yes it is.

I emailed Dragon Saws for info.

They replied:-

Prices for 62” blades are as follows:

¼” - £6.50 each
3/8” - £6.80 each
½” - £7.00 each

We currently have the following tooth pitches available:

¼” - 4, 6, 10, 14, 18, 24 & 32tpi
3/8” – 4, 6, 10, 14 & 24tpi
½” – 6 & 14tpi

All prices include vat and delivery and we offer a 5% discount for orders of 5 or more, which can be a mixture of widths and tooth pitches but there is no minimum order.

We will hopefully finishing work early tomorrow but if you would like to order any blades then any orders taken up to 10.30am will be processed and dispatched as normal and orders after this will be sorted when we return in the New Year – 2nd of January.

They can do a 'buy it now' on Ebay so you can pay by card through paypal.

Sounds like a great deal to me, when Machine Mart charge over £7 and only have 1 type of blade!

I have just 'bought it now' for the 2 blades off ebay, link was emailed as they promised.

£13.30 with free delivery! Can't beat that!

I use them as well. I've always phoned my orders in and the response has always been prompt, and its nice to talk to someone who knows what you're on about as well. :lol:
