5000 scooterists with a ticket to Ryde

Took No 1 Grandson to see the great scooter gathering on Ryde front today. Scooters arn't my thing (more of a BSA owner), but there were some fantastic machines on display, and when they set off on their ride-out along the sea-front, the noise is deafening, the two-stroke fumes choking, and the great mass take about 40 minutes to pass by. The pavement is lined four deep both sides for a mile, best free spectacle by far all weekend..
