Hi that explains it, once you get involved with the 11Kv and transformers thats it cost up and away. Being a farm is there no farming subsidies you could have applied for!!

The biggest tool in the box
Probably but only as part of some diversification project. We are up in the hills and only a few acres so its not like we can lose 23k a a business expense easily. To be honest, the digital phase converter acts just like a mains 3 phase supply for my purposes. The only benefit I can see is charging the car would be quicker, I don't think I need any tools greater than 10hp, yet.......
