Found 3ft length of dark hardwood

I making something from ash that requires 2 x 3ft lengths of 2" ash laminated together - I have these but I would like to sandwich in a 1/2" of so strip of dark hardwood (sapele etc.)- at least 3ft 1" x 1/2" x 2 1/2" or nearest metric equivalent if anyone can help? I can dimension down anything larger. Happy to pay obviously

Not local to you Mike so i fear the postage costs would be more than the timber,but if you travel this way you are welcome to take what you want from my stash of off cuts

Mike if you get no joy from someone closer to you ,then let me know and you can take your pick from Iroko/Sapelle/ABW no charge apart from P&P

You might be able to find some old window board being pulled out, from a local window fitter?
