38mm hose - Y Junction

Anyone know where I can get a 38mm (1.5") Y junction in plastic?
£35 from APTC for a steel one seems a little expensive.

Can you not bodge it with a 40mm solvent waste qblique tee, cost about £1.00 from B&Q

Thanks Jason, for a quid it's got be worth a fiddle. I am surprised that APTC - and others from Googling - only seem to offer a steel variant.

Andy - if the fit's not quite there a couple turns of duct tape over the joint will usually do the trick. If it tends to come unstuck then I've used a some cable ties over the joint to secure everything...works a treat - Rob

Andy, give these a try for all your ducting needs. Their metal pipes (spriolux) are excellent and a number of members have used them.

They do sell plastic stuff but you will have to check if they have what you need.
