3 phase costs

Hi,

I am considering taking on a new industrial unit with 3 phase, and wanted to know if anyone had any advice about the cost of having it, ie monthly costs and standing charge.

It will be myself and 1-2 others operating a panel saw, spindle moulder, planer thicknesser, plus other machines but no CNC. Extraction units will be standalone. Plus 12-16 led strip lights.

I have never paid for 3 ph and have no idea what it costs.

All I know is that commercial electricity is unregulated and therefore providers can charge what they like, which does concern me tbh.

Any help would be appreciated.

My understanding is that you're just billed per unit as normal, at the normal rate. (With the commercial caveat that you mentioned regarding price caps)
